Upper White River Canoeing: NEW for 2013!
June 19th - June 23rd, 2013
NEW for 2013 is the addition of the Upper White River. This beautiful river stretch begins in Rangely, CO. The trip will combine both the lower and upper White River sections to provide a 63-mile journey through a remote area of Colorado and Utah. Paddle past several rural horse ranches before entering the spectacular Hell's Hole Canyon which will lead you into the White River Canyon.
Gunnison River Canoeing: Geologist On Board!
June 21st - June 23rd, 2013
We will have Geologist and longtime Centennial Canoe Guide, Bob Dickerson, on board this trip. Feel free to ask Bob questions about all the geologic mysteries as you paddle through the canyons. Geologists from all over the world visit the spectacular canyon country of the Colorado Plateau, with magnificent rock formations and majestic walls of red sandstone. Interpreting the geology as you paddle through the canyons by canoe is an event of a lifetime!
Colorado River Canoeing: Beer Tasting with Boulder Beer Co.
June 21st - June 23rd, 2013
Special: $20 discount/seat through 6/10/13. At the end of each day after paddling through red sandstone canyons, sample a variety of craft beers from the Boulder Beer Company, Boulder's first micro brewery. A representative will explain the differences between beers and how they're made. This trip is not only educational but tons of fun!

Join other Guilford College alumni, students, families, staff and faculty on this unforgettable canoe odyssey with Dr. Marlene McCauley, professor of Geology & Earth Sciences. Paddling the spectacular 60-mile section of the Green River just north of Canyonlands National Park in UT is a chance of a lifetime.
North Platte River Canoeing: Denver Museum Bird & Wildlife

Join Denver Museum wildlife expert and naturalist, Jeff Stephenson, as you venture down the N. Platte River, a haven for over 80 species of birds and a large variety of animals. Jeff is great at sharing his knowledge and making the learning experience fun for all.

Our three-quarter sea kayak circumnavigation of San Juan Island affords participants a chance to kayak among the many small, uninhabited islands that “ring” San Juan Island. You’ll have opportunities to see Orca whales and other large marine mammals. With sublime views of Mt. Baker and the Olympic Mountains this trip is a Northwest classic!
