Ticos (Costa Ricans ) are very proud of their country, from its ecological jewels, high standard of living and education rate, above all, the fact that is has flourished without a military for the last 50-plus years. ● All ground transportation by air-conditioned Toyota Coaster within the country will be covered.
● All your meals (food) are included through breakfast on last day with the exception of dinner on arrival day.
● You will be staying at clean & comfortable hotels & lodges along your journey.
Meals
Eggs, Chicken, fish, beef, rice, beans, fruit, cheese and of course coffee are the main staples. You will find the food very good and wholesome. Two or three choices, plus a vegetarian option will be offered with each meal. If you notify us 30 days in advance, we can provide special foods such as kosher, non-dairy, etc.

What Makes It Fun
A little known fact is that Colorado, Utah and Wyoming offer some of the best canoeing in the world through their towering canyons in the Colorado Plateau. It’s not about big rapids, but rather the freedom and exhilaration that comes from exploring and/or camping overnight in a remote area, the experienced guides, the mix of fun people we attract and the bonds that develop, excellent food, the evening campfire, and the splendor and serenity of a magnificent river landscape.
Near Grand Junction & Delta, CO, a typical Gunnison River canoe trip is 1 to 5 days and averages 12 to 16 people (2 people per canoe) and 2 guides. On this canyon-encased Colorado canoeing trip, safety is always our main focus and we have a guide paddling at the front and back of the group. We tie personal and group gear in the center of the canoes and head down river. At our campsite or along the way, there’s an opportunity to explore wilderness canyons, relax or play in the river. And on multi-day trips, we have the luxury of camping along the river’s shore.
