Peach ‘n Paddle

Our Peach ‘n Paddle weekend gives you the best of both worlds in western Colorado.  Combine a one-day canoe trip with a pure slice of Americana at the Palisade Peach Festival, running Thursday - Sunday, August 19-22, 2010.  Enjoy a serene canoe trip on the river Saturday and only 40 minutes away you can visit the Peach Festival either before or after your river adventure. And don’t forget to purchase a box of fresh, sweet peaches to take home!

The Palisade Peach Festival offers self-guided tours of the area’s fruit stands and wineries, historical tours of downtown Palisade, self-guided bike tours, Orchard and Farm Tours, and Tucan Coffee’s Roastery Tours. Friday evening kicks off the Peach Festival at Riverbend Park, complete with more than one hundred vendors and continuous entertainment. A highlight of Friday evening will be the Peach Festival fireworks. Area hotels fill up fast so make your reservations soon.
