Towering palisades will engulf you as you paddle through Ruby and Horse Thief Canyons from Loma, CO to Westwater, UT on the Colorado River. You’ll find some of our most dramatic scenery and hiking in Mee and Knowles Canyons on this canoe trip. Your special treat includes paddling through two billion year-old stands of shiny granite sculpted by Colorado River water through the ages known as “Black Rocks.” Mostly flat water with possible small waves. No experience necessary; suitable for average fitness level.
