Operating since 1985,  Centennial Canoe Outfitters, Inc. has been providing fully outfitted & guided adventures.

Canoeing and sea kayaking are easy to learn & sports for all ages…6 to 80. You can choose either a multi-day camping expedition or a single-day river adventure. Are there ageless canyons to hike through, ancient Indian petroglyphs to discover, crackling campfires to sing around, wildlife to see, & super sunsets to dazzle you? You bet! Centennial Canoe Outfitters, Inc. provides all sea kayaks or canoes, accessories, delicious meals and experienced guides. No previous canoeing or sea kayaking experience is required. We provide safety & paddle instruction the first morning of your trip and thereafter as needed. And, you will never paddle solo if you are coming by yourself. We will team you up with one of our guides or another customer on the trip.

Testimonials

"Our guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great fun!"

Sheryl and Roger Spears, Craig, CO

"Relaxed, competent, funny guides who educated us and made it great for us and the kids."

Donna Moore

"Guides were extremely knowledgeable about flora fauna, the islands, and tides and they shared their knowledge and experience with all. I felt very safe all week. [The guides] complemented each other [and had a] great sense of humor. Could not have asked for better guides. Great trip."

Dorothy Sweet, Highlands Ranch, CO

"Fun experience in a beautiful, relatively remote place, without having to work about logistics."

Anonymous

"Everything ran as smooth as clockwork."

Elka Starks, Berthoud, CO

"[The guides] did an awesome job outfitting and guiding us, yet they didn't make anything a big production. It was very low key and we were able to thoroughly enjoy being out in nature."

Larry White, Palisade, CO

"The Gunnison is quite a beautiful stretch of river and I'm happy I now know it better than I did. I'ts also nice to know that there are guides taking folks through it and treating the river and camps with the highest respect and at the same time providing a geat experience for canoe enthusiasts. I really can't say enough about how great your guides are."

Bill Powers, Musician Paonia, CO

"The guides and the guest lecturer were excellent: helpful, wise, amusing and confident. "
