How to Get to the San Juan Islands

You are responsible for providing your own transportation to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, WA, where your trip begins. You should arrive the night before your kayak tour. Most of our guests arrive at the Seattle/Tacoma (SeaTac) Airport, take the Airporter Shuttle bus to the Anacortes ferry or drive a rental car to Anacortes on the northern coast. At Anacortes you can then take the Washington State Ferry (accommodates walk-ons and motor vehicles) to San Juan Island. Kenmore Air has Floatplanes to Friday Harbor from Seattle and the Victoria Clipper is a passenger-only ferry departing from downtown Seattle with one departure. See the San Juan web directory http://www.sanjuandirectory.com for info on logistics, lodging, restaurants, etc.
